Wojciech Duczmal

Wojciech started out in the early 2000’s as a commercials editor, working on spots for Stella Artois, Guinness, Smirnoff & Grolsch. Tired of staring at screens all day, he set up a theatre company in 2004 to produce and direct a revival of Joe Penhall’s hit play ‘Love & Understanding’. Following a successful, sold-out run of the show, he was invited to the National Theatre Director’s course.

Later that year he edited ‘The Beginner’s Guide to Scientology’, which began his longstanding relationship with Bedlam Productions (The King’s Speech’). Wojciech went on to co-write and edit Citizen Smith’, and ‘Drivetime’ for Bedlam and the BBC (Time-Out Documentary Series of the Year 2009). Wojciech’s documentary career reached its peak when he edited ‘Annabel’s: A String of Naked Lightbulbs’ for producer Ridley Scott. While at Hoot, Wojciech has directed successful campaigns for Lego, DK, Faber & Faber, The Guardian, Netflix, and Barclaycard.
